A Valentine's Day promotion in the United Arab Emirates has proved successful for the gold industry as well as two lucky residents.<BR/><BR/>Gold & Diamond Park's Valentine's Day promotion ended with Aida Issa and Isma Illahi Waren being awarded an 18-carat gold heart-shaped pendant and with the UAE's exclusive jewellery manufacturing and retailing outlet celebrating a boost in sales.<BR/><BR/>GDP manager Mohammed Taher Badri told TradeArabia News Valentine's Day was an important day in the jewellery retail calendar and that this year's promotion had helped to drive up demand.<BR/><BR/>The gold pendants were adorned with a single quality one carat diamond as part of a specially commissioned design by Al Nobala Diamonds (FZCO). <BR/><BR/>The jewellery retailer saw more than 28 daily draws held during the two promotions, which were overseen by a Department of Economic Development (DED) official.<BR/><BR/>The Park specialises in 18K, 21K, 22K & 24K gold and diamond jewellery.
