White, former style reporter for The New York Times, told the Tribune that "anything that glowed or shone was a major theme". <BR/><BR/>Bejewelled displays from Miuccia Prada with her signature collection as well as her younger line, Miu Miu, underlined the view from the Oscars that glamour is back.<BR/><BR/>Further jewelled outfits were previewed by Italian giants Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana and Donatella Versace.<BR/><BR/>Meanwhile, brooches and ornate gold handbags also proved a popular trend.
