Gold jewellery experiences export high in New DelhiTuesday, 23rd March 2004 (3261 views) Gem and jewellery exports in New Delhi have experienced positive growth according to new figures.Exports between April 2003 and February 2004 saw a 22 per cent increase to 46,472 rupees ($10,116 million), Hindu Business Line reports. The highest export increase was seen in gold jewellery according to the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council figures. Results have beaten export forecasts from the Commerce Ministry, which had a target of $9,992.
