Pasadena shoppers flock to James Avery storeTuesday, 23rd March 2004 (6615 views) The James Avery Craftsman store in Pasadena, Texas, has proved a hit with locals since it opened in September 2003.The spacious outlet in Pasadena's Fairway Marketplace shopping center is one of 35 locations in the southern United States that sell the signature Avery designs in sterling silver, 14-carat gold, 18-carat gold, platinum and gemstones. Mary Ann Davis, Pasadena store manager told the Pasadena Citizen that opening a store had been a response to the number of people from Pasadena and the surrounding areas shopping at the company's Baybrook store. Ms Davis claimed that Pasadena had lived up to the company's expectations and added: "Everyone who has come in here who has shopped Avery before tells us how happy they are that we are here. And we are always entering new accounts." Although James Avery Craftsman only has stores in Texas, Oklahoma and Georgia, it has customers nationwide via its catalogue. Founded in 1954, James Avery produces all its jewellery within the company from the original design to the finished product. The Pasadena store boasts a large selection of rings, bracelets, matching sets, keychains, chains and pendants, wedding and engagement rings, and charm bracelets and charms. Other highlights among Avery's offerings are patriotic symbols, religious-themed pieces, engraveable items, gold and silver combination pieces and jewellery designed by company founder James Avery himself.
