Tuesday, 23rd March 2004 (9007 views) A do-it-yourself jewellery design and teaching centre, Bead Palace and Accessories, has now opened in Dubai.<BR/><BR/>The new centre is the first of its kind and the largest teaching and bead resource centre in Dubai. It offers customers the opportunity to learn how to design and crate their own personalised jewellery using materials such as gold and semi precious stones.<BR/><BR/>Bead Palace owner Linda Mann told TradeArabia News Service: "Our aim is to give customers an opportunity to create their own exclusive jewellery from a large selection of beads of various materials from around the world. "<BR/><BR/>A trained team at Bead Palace assist customers to realise their designs. In addition, daily classes will be held in jewellery making, home decor accents and glass bead making. Younger designers are encouraged to get creative in a special children's section.<BR/><BR/>Bead Palace features over 10,000 beads from more than 17 countries, varying from Murano glass to silver and gold leaf finish and mostly made by hand. DIY ornaments can include rings, bracelets, necklaces, pedants, earrings, anklets, armbands and even mobile phone straps, bags and prayer beads. <BR/><BR/>Bead Palace is at Villa No. 5 - 504b, Jumeira 3, Jumeira Beach Road, Dubai and is open Saturday to Thursday from 10am - 7pm and from 2pm - 8 pm on Friday.
