Russia has the 14th largest gold reserves in the world according to new figures.<BR/><BR/>The March 2004 results from the World Gold Council show that Russia's reserves are at 390.2 tonnes for this month, excluding gold use in swap deals.<BR/><BR/>Reportedly gold reserves are at a level 0.5 per cent higher than in December 2003, according to the Bullion Desk.<BR/><BR/>Other findings show that the US has the greatest reserves at 8,134 tonnes followed by Germany with 46.5 per cent of total gold reserves.<BR/><BR/>Data is based on government information presented to the International Monetary Fund.
