Wednesday, 31st March 2004 (6760 views) A major new shopping mall has opened in Bhubaneswar in India that offers a host of jewellery retail outlets.<BR/><BR/>The Forum Mart, which saw it first store opened on Saturday, is a 1.75 lakh square foot modern commercial complex located in the heart of the city. <BR/><BR/>The leading store, Big Bazaar, commands an enormous 36,000 sq ft space, which boasts a wide range of quality gold jewellery, and was the first shop to open.<BR/><BR/>We are proud to open our ninth Big Bazaar in the country at Bhubaneswar, commented Kishore Biyani, managing director, Pantaloon Retail India. <BR/><BR/>The mall construction cost Rs 20 crore and will herald up to 50 stores serving the retail needs of the city.<BR/><BR/>The mall will also boast air conditioning, terrace gardens and glass capsule elevators.
