Tuesday, 18th May 2004 (4926 views) A new gold card scheme has been introduced in India for creditworthy exporters.<BR/><BR/>The Reserve Bank of India has launched the scheme that may also allow freedom from export guarantee and other benefits based on track record and credit worthiness.<BR/><BR/>All exporters will be able to be part of the new plan and requests would be processed by banks in a set time-frame, according to New Kerala.<BR/><BR/>Limits would be set for a period of three years and would provide a positive feature for the gold export business.<BR/><BR/>The scheme was first introduced in the Export-Import Policy for 2003-2004.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2650123"/>
