Monday, 24th May 2004 (6313 views) A new multimillion-dirham agreement has been signed between two leading Dubai companies.<BR/><BR/>The leading retail business group in the Gulf, EMKE Group, and the biggest 22-carat gold jewellery chain in the Gulf, Atlas Jewellery, have formed a leasing deal.<BR/><BR/>Yusuf Ali M.A., managing director of EMKE Group told the Times of Oman: "When we decided to open Lulu Village, Muhaisinah, Dubai, we wanted to associate with Atlas Jewellery. The successful relationship has acted as a catalyst in extending our relationship to this long-term leasing agreement."<BR/><BR/>Under the agreement, showrooms will be leased for Atlas Jewellery in a number of hypermarkets and centres across the Gulf to boost expansions plans being conducted by both companies.<BR/><BR/>Work has already begun on the sites involved and Atlas is set to open the showrooms soon.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2683579"/>
