Irkutsk unveils new gold processing complex

OJSC Vysochaishiy has unveiled a new gold processing complex in the Irkutsk region of Siberian Russia.

OJSC Vysochaishiy, founded by Lanta Bank and Lena Gold, estimate that the new Goltec deposit complex will be capable of producing around 3 tonnes of gold per year.

The resources of Goltec deposit amount to around 43 tonnes of gold, according to the Russian Jewellery Network.

In addition other deposits owned by OJSC Vysochaishiy - Pervenetc and Verninskoe - have deposits of around 83.6 tons and 79.75 tons of gold.

Last year 356 kg of gold was mined at the Pervenetc site.
