A man from Chorley believes his dowsing rods could hold the key to the mystery of what happened to the Nazi gold.<BR/><BR/>Jim Longton claims his rods have pointed him in the right direction and he has embarked on a journey travelling to Hitler's lair in Germany to discover the gold.<BR/><BR/>Mr Loughton told This is Chorley: "I already know where it is." <BR/><BR/>Dowsing is an ancient technique which uses the earth's energy to find objects underground, rods are usually a forked piece of wood in a Y shape and are sometimes said to involve psychic abilities.<BR/><BR/>The Nazi gold is thought to have been stolen from banks and people in countries occupied by the Germans during 1945-1947.<BR/><BR/>Although many experts have tried to find the location of the precious metal, Mr Loughton believes his rods will help solve the 60-year-old mystery.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2900398"/>
