One family travels especially to the area to purchase the items, Sara Kaur told the Star-Ledger: "You can't get this back in Washington, D.C. Iselin is the number one market in the East Coast."

Biren Jhaveri of Natraj Jewelers, which is situated in the strip, explained more people visit the area as of its good location, jewellery selection and prices.

A number of different gold jewellery items are on sale, including necklaces, earrings and bangles, which also come studded with diamonds, sapphires and rubies.
