Nobel Watch unveils expansion plans

Tuesday, 17th August 2004 (4535 views)

US firm Nobel Watch has revealed plans for a "significant expansion" of its operations and businesses.

According to JCK the luxury watchmaker has launched a private stock offering to investors to raise over $1 million and hopes to go public before the end of next year.

Money from company stock sales will be used for a national advertising campaign, which will boost consumer awareness of the brand and add support to its retailer network, as well as opening additional stores.

Among the items offered by the company are 18 carat gold watches and watch features, with a new limited edition signature collection planned at some point this year.

Any further funding for the growth of the business is to come from additional offerings or traditional credit channels.

Nobel was set up eight years ago and now produces tens of thousands of watches, mainly supplying independent jewellery stores and boutiques.
