Celebrity jeweller launches political pieces

Thursday, 19th August 2004 (4309 views)

Well-known celebrity jeweller Aaron Basha has gone controversial and launched a piece of jewellery for people to display their political views.

The 18-carat gold, diamond and French enamel charms and cufflinks can be shaped as either an elephant or a donkey - representing the Republican and Democrat parties.

The handmade Italian pieces are to help Mr Basha ascertain how many Democrat customers he has compared to Republicans.

Now Hollywood celebs can voice their vote with one of the pieces, with charms priced at $1900 and cufflinks for $4400.

The eccentric jeweller has a huge array of celebrity clients, including P Diddy, Demi Moore and Britney Spears.
