Bralorne-Pioneer Gold Mines begins drilling work

Tuesday, 24th August 2004 (3327 views)

Canadian mining firm Bralorne-Pioneer Gold Mines has announced it has started a new drilling programme.

The 10,000 foot drilling work is being conducted to test the extension of the 77 Vein - the key vein of the Bralorne Mine.

Up until now the area between the Bralorne and Pioneer mines has seen only a small amount of exploration work.

The company which has been around for 140 years plans to use the results to create necessary background data for a feasibility study.

Once results have been collected a decision will be made on full-scale production.
