Kimberley making good progress on renewal workWednesday, 25th August 2004 (3166 views) Kimberley Gold Mines has revealed that it is making considerable progress in its new gold mine renewal plans.The company is hoping to renew production at the Rescue Gold Mine in Idaho and claims it has made key progress towards achieving this goal. Kimberly president, Kevin Shiell, commented: "The efforts undertaken to date demonstrate Kimberly's commitment and determination to achieve our goal of bringing the Rescue operation back into production by the summer of next year." So far the company has undertaken clean up work to raise the condition of the property to operating standards, the appointment of a mining contractor and made payments for the permission needed to reinstate operations at the site. In addition, further funding for modification and repair work has also been provided.
