Aurora discovers new gold prospects at joint venture mining site

Thursday, 16th September 2004 (2826 views)

Aurora Platinum has revealed today that through exploration activities in its Temiscamingue joint venture project in Quebec, a number of new gold showings have been discovered and known showings have been expanded.

Among the findings were gold values of 59.8 grams, 42.7 grams, 18.35 grams, and 16.05 grams per tonne.

Aurora entered into the project in March with Fieldex Exploration for exploration in the Belleterre Greenstone Belt.

Further activity to search for additional prospects are to continue and work is currently underway on a number of the new high-grade gold showings.

A drilling campaign will also take place later in the year.
