Gold jewellery is set to impress this October at the seventh annual Sacramento Arts Festival.

The event is being held to raise proceeds for a local museum and an arts education scheme of programmes for children.

Over 255 premier artists are taking part in the event, displaying more than 15,000 original pieces of work and all of them were carefully selected by a jury.

Gold jewellery will feature in the fine art section, with around 40 jewellers working with the precious metal and various metals to offer rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets and brooches.

Taking place on October 1-3, the event is now becoming one of the top art festivals in the US.
