The recent Miss Ghana competition has seen the first, second and third place contestants all treated to a host of lavish gifts.<BR/><BR/>Yvonne Hayfron, who represented the Central Region came in third place, but was given a set of 18 carat gold jewellery worth five million cedis, amongst other gifts, according to Ghana Web.<BR/><BR/>The event this year tried to offer something a little different with the winning contestant being compared to a list of criteria including beauty, brains and quality material that can rub shoulders with any beauty queen in the world without any qualms.<BR/><BR/>In addition, top African artists performed for the event, which was hoping to find the future Miss World, with performers including singer Sheila Nvannugi.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3492410"/>
