African Gold announces ambitious plans

Mining firm African Gold has revealed today it plans to boost its position in the field within the next three years.<BR/><BR/>The Irish precious metals explorer believes it can become "a significant gold mining entity" within the period, according to Business World.<BR/><BR/>African Gold is already performing well, with drilling in Ghana of the Konongo/Owere property performing well.<BR/><BR/>Drilling work at the site has led to a 100 per cent success rate for gold mineralisation with every hole.<BR/><BR/>It is hoped the Konongo programme will offer in excess of one million ounces of gold and African believes a mine capable of achieving 100,000 ounces of gold each year is achievable.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3723879"/>
