Canadian mining firm Sur American Gold has announced it has made further positive progression with exploration at its Comval Gold project in the Philippines.<BR/><BR/>The site in the Compostela Valley, has seen exploration expand the size of the project, with an extra 600 metre wide zone found next to a recently discovered 1000 metre wide zone.<BR/><BR/>Initial sampling is already in progress and free gold has been panned from a number of areas.<BR/><BR/>Additional sampling has revealed positive gold findings and the possibility for bulk open cut mining and overall bulk mining across zones.<BR/><BR/>Survey results are to be reviewed along with all other exploration data collected in 2004 and it is hoped a final decision of initial drilling will be made at the beginning of December.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7131031"/>
