Jewellery firm strikes gold with celebsThursday, 16th December 2004 (4352 views) Jeweller Anthony Nak is proving popular as it continues to expand its list of celebrity clients. The jewellery designers Anthony Camargo and David Armstrong, who are behind the business, are now so big that they have a private line to the White House. Customers for the pair include Laura Bush, Sandra Bullock - their first ever celebrity client, Scarlett Johansson and Sarah Jessica Parker. Mr Camargo explained to the Telegraph: "For us, the celebrity following was immediate. "One of our goals is that our pieces always drape nicely on the body, and are reminiscent of fabric. Even though we use hard materials, we always want to make sure that our jewellery is feminine and very sexy." The firm was set up in 1998 and since then has provided beautiful designs for a host of female stars. Items in the collection include white topaz and 18-carat gold chandelier earrings and necklaces, including one that Britney Spears wore on the front cover of her last album. Originally the pair did not know how to cast metals or set stone, so they created a way to encase stones in chain and wire, which has now become their trademark.
