Tuesday, 21st December 2004 (5802 views) Lawyers have revealed that the US government has agreed to settle a lawsuit over a trainload of gold, jewellery and other property.<br/><br/>The lawsuit is with tens of thousands of Hungarian Holocaust survivors who lost property when it was seized by the American army at the end of the Second World War.<br/><br/>However, goods worth $200 million, stolen by Nazis and confiscated by the US are still being discussed.<br/><br/>The action was launched by Hungarian Jews in Miami, where many people from the community live.<br/><br/>According to reports, the agreement will also apply to Holocaust survivors in Israel, Australia and elsewhere.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7376607"/>
