Friday, 21st January 2005 (6680 views) Indian fashion guru Ritu Beri has launched a new jewellery line featuring necklaces, pendants, earrings and finger rings.<br/><br/>Designed in association with the D'damas gems brand, the line will be called Amour and all pieces will be engraved with the initials of Beri.<br/><br/>Ritu Beri told the IANS news service she decided to enter the jewellery market due to the popularity of gold in India.<br/><br/>"India's love affair with gold is enduring, spanning centuries and millennia," she stated.<br/><br/>"This is why I choose to enter the jewellery design arena with an ethno-contemporary gold collection."<br/><br/>Ms Beri added: "This collection symbolises the unique qualities of the precious metal.
