Monday, 31st January 2005 (9381 views) Chennai is to host the first ever business-to-business international jewellery show this year, organised by two key organisations.<br/><br/>Gold Jewellery India International Exhibition 2005 (GIJE 2005) is being organised by the World Gold Council (WGC) and Madras Jewellers & Diamond Merchants Association (MJDMA).<br/><br/>It is thought more than 150 Indian and international participants will attend the event, which will run for three days from May 20th, according to Business India.<br/><br/>WGC managing director, Sanjeev Agarwal, commented: "The GJIIE 2005 will offer an excellent platform to meet, interact and transact business with jewellery manufacturers, jewellery machinery and packaging manufacturers, importers, exporters, wholesalers and retailers under one roof."<br/><br/>The event will also help designers and manufacturers more aware of changing trends in overseas markets, which will provide helpful information for export deals.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7689532"/>
