Ormonde announces Spanish acquisitions

Irish mining firm Ormonde Mining has acquired a number of gold properties in Spain.<br/><br/>The sites are all advanced gold properties situated in the Salamanca area of western Spain and include deposits where previous workers have found high grade gold.<br/><br/>A number of the areas have been identified as containing high-grade gold but no or only limited follow up exploration work has occurred.<br/><br/>Along with permits previously obtained, the company now has areas that are part of the Salamanca Gold Project.<br/><br/>Ormonde may then earn a 90 per cent interest in the project by staged funding of exploration totalling €2.2 million over a five-year period.<br/><br/>Ormonde is a European exploration company that focuses on developing gold projects in Europe.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7691943"/>
