The latest look for brides is sparkly, glamorous and gold, as the luxury look comes back to wedding jewellery.

Fashion has changed and brides now want matching necklaces, tiaras and earrings and many are looking for pieces that can be worn well after their wedding day.

As tiaras make a comeback in the world of weddings, yellow gold is a popular look for all different types of jewellery, according to various US jewellers.

In addition, oversized pieces are proving popular in stores with brides-to-be.

Myra Kaster, jeweller and co-owner of Allysa Blake & Kaster in Framingham, advised: "Don't overdo jewellery, though. Sometimes the right earrings don't need a necklace.

"It is always important to note that the right jewellery will accent what a bride is wearing, but you don't want to overpower the dress.'

Many US jewellers are now offering customised bridesmaid jewellery and allowing people to design their own tiaras.
