Swedish mining firm Beowulf Gold has revealed it has discovered two deposits in Northern Sweden that are to be investigated further by diamond drilling this year.

The sites Jokkmokk and Grundtrask have both shown indications of gold mineralisation.

Jokkmokk had high-grade boulders showing mineralisation in the past, but further drilling has bought up new findings, with 82 square kilometres set to be drilled.

In addition, Grundtrask, situated in the Skellefte Mining District, covers an area of 43 square kilometres and previous drilling has uncovered gold mineralisation of more than one gram per tonnes.

However drilling is to ascertain whether there are further boulders containing up to ten grams per tonne of gold.
