Traditional Indian crafts on display

A host of Indian handicrafts and textiles are currently being showcased in Chennai.

Items come from various parts of the country and include jewellery, temple jewellery, sarees and paintings, according to News Today.

The expo lasts until the end of the month and also features different kinds of jewellery, like that worn by classical dancers.

Ornaments include pieces made of silver and studded with gold leaves and ancient stones.

Traditional gold bangles of Rajasthan will also be displayed, with a set of six bangles costing Rs 550.
