Cluff discovers high grade gold

Wednesday, 23rd February 2005 (3306 views)

UK based miner Cluff Gold has revealed that initial drill results have uncovered high gold grades at it Baomahun project in Sierra Leone.

Up to 5,000 metres of drilling is planned at the site during the four months.

Chairman and chief executive JG Cluff said: "These initial encouraging results confirm our belief that Baomahun could be a significant gold project."

The firm has also recently completed a magnetic and geophysical survey covering the Baomahun and Victoria licenses and results are currently being interpreted.

It is hoped the interpretation will help with further regional target generation in the two licence areas.
