A new comedy is set to hit the big screen this April and audiences will not just be impressed by the acting.

Chicken Tikka Masala is a British made film comedy, which was recently nominated for a British Independent Film Award and is said to be like the popular East is East.

A host of lavish costumes were made for the film, as well as beautiful gold jewellery, specially designed for the comedy's stars.

Sally Bankes, who stars in the film, told clickwalla: "The costumes for the wedding scenes were visually stunning. The wedding gown itself, designed by Venkat Chenubotla, was exquisite.

"The magnificent gold jewellery that had also been designed by Venkat for the film only served to enhance what was truly a beautiful costume, which made me feel very special!"
