US firm Novica has been helping consumers pick the perfect present for American mothers as they get set to celebrate Mother's Day.

The event is held on May 8th this year and jewellery is set to be a popular gift according to reports.

Novica sells items from across the world including gold jewellery.

This year the company is particularly recommending jewellery by Trollbeads, which mixes glass bead, 18-carat gold, natural pearls and silver, with more than 200 pieces to choose from.

Latest innovations at the company include its new double lock system and adaptable beads so bracelets can be changed easily by customers when they fancy something different.

The company combines different materials not usually used with one another, with customers able to pick their own designs.
