A new report out today has shown that luxury consumers are spending more on luxury goods, including jewellery.<br/><br/>Unity Marketing's Luxury Report 2005 shows that the typical amount spent on luxuries last month was up by 33 per cent to $33,188.<br/><br/>Spending in all categories increased in 2004, such as jewellery and watches.<br/><br/>The report is the result of three years of research into the luxury market, with 600 luxury consumers surveyed.<br/><br/>Within each category the key reasons for purchase are looked into such as the influence of sale price on purchase, where the last luxury was bought, why the luxuries were bought, whether it was for a gift and other motivational factors.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8364162"/>
