DGCX ready for membershipTuesday, 26th April 2005 (4426 views) A top official from the Dubai Metals and Commodities Centre (DMCC) has revealed that the Dubai Gold And Commodities Exchange (DGCX) is set to begin membership in May.It is hoped the exchange will be in operation from the middle of the summer, with the electronic environment and location all ready. According to the Khaleej Times the exchange will be the world's first to work seven days a week. A special diamond training area will also be available through the exchange under a new deal between the Dubai Diamond Exchange and the HRD Institute of Gemmology. It is hoped the training and exchange will help to boost the local jewellery industry.
