New York estate collection up for sale

A new jewellery collection is being sold through collectibles and antique website Ice Originals II.<br/><br/>The collection includes jewellery using gold and other precious metals and dates from the 1800s to mid 1900s.<br/><br/>From a New York estate, some of the jewellery is of European descent and the items are now available for members of the public to buy.<br/><br/>A number of the pieces including hand chasing and enamel inlaid into gold, with items including watch pins, sash pins and brooches,<br/><br/>In addition well cut steel and gold earrings are also included.<br/><br/>According to the company, some of the items have been so well stored and protected that they actually look like new.<br/><br/>Some pieces the firm has obtained are not for sale such as several pre-1860 pieces that are made from gold and contain precious stones such as diamonds and rubies.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8378967"/>
