Thai jewellery exports to India upFriday, 29th April 2005 (4771 views) New figures from Thailand have shown its gem and jewellery exports to India have increased.According to the Bangkok Post, gem and jewellery exports are up by 18 per cent. The increase is thought to have been boosted by a reduction on import tariffs in both the countries. Under the free trade agreement signed on September 1st last year import tariffs were cut on 82 items. In addition, Thai exports to India increased by 109 per cent year-on-year during the four months to December 31st.
