Wednesday, 25th May 2005 (8099 views) Dubai-based company Sky Jewellery opened its first showroom in the Sultanate of Oman yesterday.<br/><br/>The new showroom in Ruwi, opened by Oman minister of manpower Juma bin Ali bin Juma, showcases a range of stunning gold jewellery designs.<br/><br/>Gold pieces come in 18, 21 and 22 carats and are aimed at both European and Asian clients.<br/><br/>To celebrate the opening of its new premises, Sky Jewellery is offering a series of special offers, including free gifts for purchases of above 50 rials (RO), equivalent to about £70.<br/><br/>Sky Jewellery, founded in 1978 and now boasting 28 showrooms around the world, has also become the first jewellery outlet to offer customers insurance worth 100 RO (£140) in association with the New India Assurance Company.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8585260"/>
