Minmet makes significant gold discoveries in Dom RepThursday, 26th May 2005 (3285 views) Minmet has revealed that it has made a significant new gold discovery in the Dominican Republic.The Dublin-listed exploration firm has received positive results after recent drilling at Cerro Dorado by its subsidiary GoldQuest Mining. A total of five holes were drilled at the site at a total of 251 metres, hoping to ascertain the contact of the mineralisation. The discovery is well exposed in a creek that had been channel sampled. Minmet has shares in a host of gold mines and companies including Bjorkdal gold mine, EMML, GoldQuest Mining and North American.
