Synergy reports large gold finds in VictoriaWednesday, 22nd June 2005 (2883 views) Synergy Metals has reported significant gold finds in the East Gippsland area of south-east Victoria, Australia.According to company spokesman, Peter Jermyn, drilling has been conducted at about 50 test holes at Sunnyside and Glen Wills, north of Omeo. In one area, drilling revealed close to a kilogram of gold yielded by a tonne of ore. "It is spectacular, you just don't see those sorts of results very many times in your career but, having said that,...Sunnyside was typically, as was Glen Wills to the south, very high grade producers in their old history," Mr Jermyn told ABC News. Lower yields in ore found close to the high-yielding area are also encouraging, the Synergy Metals spokesman added. Synergy Metals has reported the finds to the Australian Stock Exchange.
