Monday, 25th July 2005 (6506 views) A blouse made of pure gold is wowing visitors to a jewellery store in Chennai, India.<br/><br/>The hand-crafted garment features 3.2kgs of 22 carat gold of international quality and is set with precious stones.<br/><br/>The blouse is being displayed at the Prakash Gold Palace with a pair of matching earrings and, despite a hefty price tag, has already been snapped up by a customer in Dubai.<br/><br/>"It is made from our own ideas. If the people in the Arab wear it, they will always remember it," said Prakashchand Jain, of Prakash Gold Palace.<br/><br/>It took ten craftsmen 35 days to complete the blouse, which reportedly looks more like a piece of jewellery than an evening garment.<br/><br/>The exhibition at Prakash Gold Palace in Kellys also features a 600 gram gold rickshaw-puller, a 350 gram gold flower vase and a golden map of India, weighing 600 grams.
