Monday, 25th July 2005 (4466 views) The Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group has reported that it is expecting its jewellery promotion during the Dubai Summer Surprises to significantly boost sales.<br/><br/>The company recently held its fourth raffle draw and Egyptian Amal Alaa won a kilogram of gold, while Indian Jharna Paul, an Indian, won a one carat solitaire diamond.<br/><br/>The group expects its latest promotion to result in Dh320 million (£50.1 million) in sales, from participating outlets alone.<br/><br/>The promotion offers shoppers the chance to win ten kilos of gold and ten carats of solitaire diamonds, with a purchase from participating jewellery outlets.<br/><br/>The gold and diamond promotion, the first of its kind, has been created to reflect the prevalent purchasing trends in Dubai and a key attraction of the campaign is the first ever citywide offer on diamond.<img alt="track" src="http://feeds.directnews.org.uk/feedtrack/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=14013787"/>
