Gold is featuring in new range of hair accessory designs.<br/><br/>The yellow metal is being used in a variety of hair accessories, livening up a market where consumers are demanding more from their designs.<br/><br/>Indian hair accessory specialists are seeing a particular demand for their gold-based products.<br/><br/>New products include jooda pins and side pins, side combs, side pins, clutchers, baby clips and other gold-plated and stone-studded hair accessories.<br/><br/>Young girls are reported to have picked up on the designs, with many retailers seeing decent demand for variety in their fashion products.<br/><br/>The development is the latest in a line of more fashionable ideas for gold, which is no longer considered a traditional, orthodox metal.<img alt="track" src="http://feeds.directnews.org.uk/feedtrack/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=15011869"/>
