Wednesday, 14th December 2005 (5594 views) MGA Entertainment is following the trend for gold jewellery with its new range of Bratz fashion dolls that sport imitations of the precious metal.According to Reuters, the company's new Genie Magic range dolls will wear gold dangly earrings as well as gold chains across their foreheads. They will be dressed in gypsy-style skirts in deep pink, blue, turquoise and orange, mirroring some of the hottest catwalk trends for spring and summer 2006. "Our whole line always gets developed and changes, based on the trends," MGA Entertainment chief executive Isaac Larian told Reuters. The Genie Magic dolls are marketed towards six to 12-year-old girls and could spur further interest in the hot trend of gold jewellery. Gold jewellery teamed with black for a ladylike look is one current fashion for this season. Mr Larian predicts that genie Magic will be the biggest line the company has ever had.
