Luxury chocolate brand Godiva is hoping to strike gold this year by teaming up with two top jewellery makers.

Godiva will launch several promotions with Aaron Basha and one competition in partnership with H. Stern as it bids to draw on the natural links between luxury chocolate and fine jewellery.

Several promotions will be launched with Aaron Basha around Mother's Day.

If you buy one of Basha's 18-carat gold shoe pendants between April 10 and May 14 then you'll be given a two-piece box of Godiva's G collection chocolates.

The partnership will run the other way as well, with customers buying a box of Godiva's Mother's Day chocolates receiving an Aaron Bash jewellery case.

The chocolate maker will also run a Valentine's Day competition with H. Stern as it celebrates its 80th anniversary.

The winner of the grand prize will be rewarded with $80,000 worth of jewels and 80 boxes of chocolates. All you have to do is buy a Godiva Valentine's Day box of chocolate worth $23 or more.
