Zalemark dragon pendant to go on show

Friday, 17th February 2006 (4150 views)

The Amelia Island Concourse d'Elegance in Florida will see the unveiling of Zalemark's limited edition Legend of the Dragon pendant.

Zalemark, a creator of fine jewellery, will display the 18-carat gold pendant at a Down East Boil dinner on March 10th, which will precede the Concourse events.

Renowned jewellery designer Steven Zale, chairman and chief executive of Zalemark, created the two-tone gold piece from an original artefact that dates back to the Chinese Warring States period (475BC).

It features 524 round brilliant cut diamonds, and the accompanying necklace is made from 18-carat yellow cold with 461 round brilliant cut diamonds.

The limited edition pendant will be shown for the first time at the Concourse, and made available for ordering. A series of 88 will be made, and sold at between $33,000 and $38,000 each.

They will come with an appraisal and a certificate of authenticity.

The Concourse d'Elegance is billed as "a visible and lasting way to support the community".
