Las Vegas Trump tower is gold-platedTuesday, 21st March 2006 (3940 views) Real estate icon Donald Trump is building the tallest building in Las Vegas, to be named Trump Las Vegas. And the 64-storey tower, which will be home to privately-owned condos as well as hotel rooms, is to be sheathed in glass embedded with 24-carat gold flecks. But the town is also the target of American lifestyle guru Martha Stewart's real estate ambitions. She has partnered with KB Home to create residences in Las Vegas. The two mega-rich celebrities had a spat recently on The Apprentice but the desert town will probably be big enough to accommodate the two of them. Condos in Trump Las Vegas will range in price from $670,000 to $7 million, USA Today reveals, so they will not directly compete with Stewart's Martha's Choices homes where prices range from $200,000 to $500,000. But those that do have the green to splash out on a portion of the shining Trump tower will enjoy the benefits of round-the-clock concierge service and a lobby with marble floors and crystal chandeliers.
