A new jewellery design boutique has opened in Brooklyn, New York. And its debut collection – entitled Signature – features plenty of stunning gold pieces.

The 'Coin Pearl and Crystal' features coin pearls and crystals hand-linked to a shimmering 14-carat gold-filled chain, while the 'Cameo' adds fossil beads to a similar sparkling gold chain.

The collection is about new growth, individuality and allowing the wearers to express their inner selves.

Kerri Fisher is the owner of The String Bean and also a designer. "Jewellery is one of the clearest ways to express who you are," she said. "As a designer, I try to create pieces that are as graceful, strong and beautiful as the women who wear them."

She added: "The versatility of the Signature collection allows women to explore, create and display many aspects of their distinctive personalities."

All her jewellery is "created for women who love fashion but are not limited by trendswomen who value independence, originality and impeccable craftsmanship and who venture off the beaten path to find it".
