Dazzling gold exhibited at Singapore showThursday, 23rd March 2006 (3944 views) Gold retailers and jewellers from across the globe are to congregate at the Singapore International Jewellery Show 2006.Held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, the event will showcase beautiful gold pieces from a range of hosts. Merchants from Australia, Belgium, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Peru, Thailand and the US are all set to appear to display their exotic goods. Visitors will marvel at the sight of an antique jewel-set sword, thought to originate in the Mediterranean from the 18th century. Other highlights include an array of Italian writing instruments on display, a gold thread dress and a gold shoe. A lucky draw, fashion show and auction will also be held at the event, which surely ranks highly on the agenda for any gold enthusiast seeking a fix of the precious metal. The exhibition runs June 29th to July 2nd this year.
