Grando put on an Italian feast in LA showroomThursday, 30th March 2006 (4453 views) Snaidero USA has been hosting a special presentation of Grando jewellery at its flagship showroom in Los Angeles, California.The jewellery maker produces couture collections of handmade Italian 18-carat gold and platinum items and has displayed its "Venetian Lace" signature collection at the LA location. Each piece is traditionally designed and embellished with diamonds and other precious gemstones. Particular highlights of the show were a 70-carat emerald pendant with yellow diamonds and an 18-carat blue Sri Lankan sapphire set into a diamond bezel pendant. The showroom has been said to compliment the jewellery it will be hosting, as it has won many store design awards. Created by Italian architect Giorgio Borruso, Snaidero says the showroom's "elegant and vibrant space reflects the "Form Follows Life" philosophy of [its] products". Grando announced that throughout the evening models would wear the gold and platinum jewellery as well as parade the showroom with "jewels displayed creatively on top of colourful Snaidero kitchen door samples".
