Ross-Simons launches new 'Global Treasures' range

Thursday, 13th April 2006 (4098 views)

Leading jewellery retailer Ross-Simons has announced the launch of its new collection, Global Treasures.

Bringing together a variety of pieces inspired by countries and regions of the world, Global Treasures merges several cultures and influences into a single collection of jewellery and collectibles.

Amongst the more unusual pieces is a whimsical nod to biker culture from Jordan Scott, a New York designer who has created gold and diamond jewellery using the traditional leather-clad motorcycle riders' symbols of skulls, winged hearts and cross and bones.

"The jewellery and gifts we've included in Global Treasures are splendid reflections of the cultures in which they have been made," said Darrell Ross, president of Ross-Simons.

"In offering our customers the Global Treasures collection, we are providing a glimpse into the experience and beauty of some of the world's most stunning and exotic locations."

The Rhode Island-based company sends out over 48 million catalogues each year, as well as trading in 15 retail stores in the US and online through its website.

Its latest collection is one of the widest ranges produced by the company to date, with inspiration drawn from the most diverse corners of the globe: China to Brazil, India to Italy and Thailand to the US.
